Orange & White Selenite Yin Yang with Two Shungite Spheres on Polished Shungite Base

This shungite garden is a dance of opposites, a balance of contradictions.

A 3D yin and yang symbol has been carved from two pieces of selenite - one from white selenite and the other from orange.

Each piece has a dip in the top in which a black shungite sphere rests.

The set sits upon a slab of black shungite - perfectly polished on the top but left raw and unpolished around the perimeter.

The yin and yang symbol (or taijitu) represents a balance between opposites - the idea that all things in the universe exist as inseparable and contradictory opposites. Said another way, pairs of opposites attract and complement each other.
